Welsh Zoo
Residents chose to attend the local zoo during the Easter Break. Staff and residents alike looked forward to an exciting day viewing and learning about the animals living just 10 minute drive away.
We packed a picnic and enjoyed eating together under the trees near our first stop.
We spent some time in the new Butterfly Jungle, watching and taking photos of the beautiful butterflies.
Our activities Co-ordinator Laura wasn’t too fond of the butterflies flying around.
We managed to see the Bear out of his cave and watched the Sea Lion show.
We learnt that Sea Lions can hold their breathe for 20 minutes under water.
We had hoped to see the Tigers but unfortunately, they were hiding so we plan to visit again until the aim to see them next time.
