You may first be struck by our beautiful Grade II listed building, dating back to 1840 and surrounded by established woodland and gardens. But step through our doors and it is the warmth of our welcome, the experience of our nursing team and the vibrant community within that really make Bryn Yr Haul special.
Located in Mold, our 36-bedroom nursing home provides high-quality nursing, residential and compassionate end-of-life care, with dignity, choice and individuality at the heart of everything we do.
We believe it is often the little things that make the biggest difference. Taking time to listen. Knowing someone's story. Remembering how they like their tea. Supporting a much-loved hobby. And making sure there is always something to look forward to.
Life at Bryn Yr Haul can be as sociable or as relaxed as each resident chooses, with entertainers, visiting speakers, creative activities, themed events, gardening and opportunities for families to join in too.

After more than 40 years working in nursing and care, I still feel incredibly privileged to do what I do. I have been Registered Manager at Bryn Yr Haul since 2014, and I am very proud of the experienced, compassionate team and welcoming home we have created together.
For me, excellent nursing care starts with getting to know the individual. We want to hear their stories, understand what matters to them and learn about the routines, interests and relationships that make them who they are.
My aim is for residents to feel safe, respected and genuinely at home, while families feel welcomed, involved and confident in the care their loved one receives.
