Facilities and Care
There is one shower room and one bathroom wet rooms, each individual service user will have a detailed risk assessment of needs, and specialist equipment will be supplied on identified need, there is 3 lounges and 2 dining rooms and one activities room. 29 of the bedrooms are ensuite.
Primarily, it is the aim of Rhoslan is to provide an environment that all service users can regard as their Home. We recognise that Rhoslan must be run to meet the needs of our service users and their wishes are paramount.
At Rhoslan we offer care that is of the highest standard, and is tailored to meet individuals, with specific wishes and choices. These choices will be respected and honoured at all times.
Care will be planned with regard to current research and guidelines on good practice. Where possible, the service user and their family will be involved in the planning of care.
Rhoslan offers to its service users, a Home that recognises and respects the dignity of everyone within the Home, and we seek to defend and uphold each individual’s human rights. Access to independent advocacy services will be provided and encouraged, where necessary.
At Rhoslan we will provide care that is non-discriminatory. Our service users will be treated with respect, regardless of age, sex, race or religious belief. We acknowledge the right of our service users to worship in their own faith, and every assistance will be given to make this possible.
Staff at Rhoslan will make themselves available to discuss any matter with the service user or their chosen representative. Input from relatives will be encouraged, recorded and valued.
Confidential information will always be treated as such, and the right of the service user to personal privacy is acknowledged. The right of privacy will extend to bedrooms, bathrooms and all personal space.
Above all, at .Rhoslan. we will strive to create a Home, where, in comfort, safety and security, the service user can be the individual, that he or she has always been.
